This position also works with IT in order to streamline reporting and data capture, per the contract terms.Duties & Responsibilities:* Formally documents the assumptions of Masimo Finance regarding what is included in the royalty calculation;* Document the method and detailed sources of data for the royalty calculation;* Work with Marketing and/or Engineering and document the list of applicable part numbers of products that can measure more than vital sign parameters for devices, sensors, and accessories;* Periodically analyze ASPs by region to establish the difference between standard prices, Vital Signs Parameters and the price charged for a similar type of product that can also measure Non-Vital Signs Parameters (US, Canada/Latin America, EMEA, Japan, Rest of Asia);* Pull the information to establish the percentage of Rainbow enabled devices on each contract (both US and OUS) and amendment; periodically validate to ensure that percentages have not changed on individual contracts;* Collect sales information for all Rainbow related contracts and non-contract related Rainbow Royalty products; calculate royalty according to the class of royalty each falls into;* Process royalty payments and reporting on a timely manner in accordance with the contract requirements;* Work with IT to streamline data capture, royalty calculation and reporting per the contract terms, in order to leverage Royalty as the Company continues to grow;* Perform special projects as requested;* Interaction with Sales to provide contract analysis support* Perform quarterly lease revenue analysis* Calculate quarterly reprocessed accrual* Assist in various quarter end duties as required (FOB destination analysis)Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience:Minimum Qualifications:* Seven or more years of related experience;* GAAP Experience in Revenue Recognition* Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel and Word);* Strong analytical skills;* Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task;* Must be pro-active and able to work independently;* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;Education:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.Physical requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities.
