Customer Service Representative


This is a Contract position in Anaheim, CA posted March 22, 2021.

Ashland has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Servie Representative to join our Pharmachem business at our Anaheim, CA location. This is a very visible, significant role within the Company and the manufacturing function. This position will report to Operations Manager

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Process daily orders, verifying pricing, product availability, terms and conditions and order entry.
  • Provide technical support to customer with the assistance of Quality Control.
  • Quote new and existing customers, fulfill sample requests and assist customers with new inquiries as needed. 
  • Manage price increase notices & rejections with the assistance of Operations Manager & Quality Control.
  • Review and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Maintain accountability for orders to meet monthly quotas including customers accounting status.
  • Standard administrative support such as answering phones, filing, cross training in other departments
  • In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Associate Degree or higher
  • 2-3 years in a Customer Service role.
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Excellent written, verbal and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong communication, analytical & problem-solving skills
  • The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit :

  • Bachelor’s Degree
