Position Type: Part time/Full time
Hours: Fleixible hours between the hours of Monday-Friday 8am-8pm
Compensation: $18-$22 (DOE)

Behavior Therapist Job Description:
As a behavior therapist you work with children and families in clinic, home and community settings. You use play and daily routines to teach children with developmental disabilities a variety of skills. Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) we strive to create a world without limits.

What you bring to the team:

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver’s license required

• Clean criminal background check

• 6 months of experience in an ABA position preferred or experience in similar field

• Required immunizations and TB test

Responsibilities of the Behavior Therapist:  

• Work 1:1 with clients using ABA and PRT Strategies
• Complete data collection, in-service notes and procedures as outlined by Supervisors
• Participate in all trainings, evaluations and team meetings
• Communicate frequently and effectively with team members  

• Bring required materials as needed (toys, iPad, etc. provided by In STEPPS)

• Follow schedule as determined by administrative staff and supervisors.

• Comply with all reporting requirements of the company, including all administrative, payroll submissions, billing information, etc., on a timely basis. 

Physical Requirements:

Maintain physical condition necessary for walking, standing, and sitting for prolonged periods of time; may be required to push, pull, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., carry, reach, and stoop.
