Clinical Trial Rater Job Description:

Advanced Research Center, Inc.

(ARC) is a private Clinical Research Site dedicated to conducting clinical trials for Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical Companies.

We have over 16 years of experience conducting clinical trials across various therapeutic areas, emphasizing Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, and Psychiatry/Central Nervous System.

We partner with major pharmaceutical sponsors in the medical field for new medications and treatments.

We are looking for a Clinical Trial Rater to join our team and assist with CNS trials.

Clinical Trial Rater: will be responsible for interviewing research participants and their informants/caregivers who are being evaluated to participate in a research study for various cognitive and behavior disorders and completing rating scales for CNS trials: Depression, Schizophrenia, Bipolar, ADHD, Alzheimer’s, Hypertension, Migraine, etc.

You must have experience evaluating a wide range of psychiatric patients using various diagnostic and symptom rating scales.

You will utilize multiple methods to gather clinical data on study participants specific to the study protocol.

Responsibilities and Tasks include but are not limited to:
Interview/evaluate a patient’s current clinical condition and symptom severity.

Perform diagnostic evaluations, cognitive evaluations, and other psychological assessments as defined in study protocols.

Participate in ongoing training and certifications related to protocols, scales (CSSRS, PANSS, CGI-I, CGI-S, HAM-D), and other rater-related responsibilities required by the studies.

Follow Sponsor (protocol-specific) requirements and applicable CNS Network internal SOPs.

Complete subject’s clinical intake forms (i.e., psychiatric history) and submit them to the study team as specified.

Assess and complete subject eligibility/screening forms and interact with medical monitor regarding subjects’ inquiries.

Assist the research team with resolving data queries.
Minimum Qualifications:
You MUST have a Master’s Degree in Psychology or Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields.

Experience with psychometric ratings such as PANSS, MMSE, MoCA, YMRS, ADAS-Cog, ADCS-ADL, C-SSRS, WAIS-IV (preferred).

Current GCP training (preferred).

Experience in a field that includes patient assessments, such as psychology (preferred).

Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal).
Experience/Skills:
Experience in the field of clinical research is required.

Knowledge of clinical trial federal, state, and local regulatory requirements preferred.
Must know about Google Suite programs, computer skills, ability to conduct Internet searches.

Knowledge of OpenClinica and OpenEMR (preferred).
Strong project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Superior interpersonal and communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to work on deadlines, set priorities, and juggle multiple projects without compromising quality.

Detail-oriented and highly organized.
