AMFM Healthcare is a residential mental health provider serving those who are seeking treatment to learn coping skills for severe mental illness.What is the Job?The internal name for this position is Client Coordinator, but we use that term interchangeably with our roles as the primary mentors and advocates assisting our clients.

This position is rewarding for those who seek to directly make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling with acute mental illness.

You will provide compassionate and exceptional care for clients at our residential facilities.

You will provide basic group supervision and facilitation, monitor the self administration of medications, support the well being of the clients in all of their daily activities, and assist in our round-the-clock care.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:Work with clients that have acute psychiatric diagnoses in a non-lockdown setting.Conduct rounds for up to 6 clients.Have basic computer skills and are willing to learn how to use an electronic healthcare system.Observe, report, and document client behaviors.Communicate and document shift notes.Ensure client safety.Assist in other duties provided by Program Management.QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEAlthough prior experience in a mental health related field is a plus, our training program will provide you the tools to succeed on the job if you are willing to learn and are a reliable individual with a strong work ethic.This position is also a great stepping stone to expand into the organization after gaining experience in order to move towards a clinical, administrative, or other role.

– Staff must meet this criteria in order to gain employment:Able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check with the Federal Department of Justice (LiveScan) and California Department of Social ServicesCurrent valid Driver’s License with 4 years of continuous driving historyNo major traffic violations within the past 5 yearsAt least 21 years of ageMinimum of a High School diplomaABOUT USAfter the tragic loss of a beloved son due to mental illness, A Mission for Michael (AMFM Healthcare) was created with the vision of preventing such hopelessness in the lives of others.
