PeopleReady has immediate opportunities for experienced CNC Programmers.CNC Programmer/Machinist Job Responsibilities: Produces machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality andsafety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.ResponsibilitiesPlans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parametersPlans stock inventory by checking stock to determine amount available; anticipating needed stock; placing and expediting orders for stock; verifying receipt of stock.Programs and sets-up mills and lathesVerifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards.Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; sharpening and replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.Qualifications & ExperiencePrevious work experience as a CNC programmerPrevious experience working in a manufacturing environment is requiredMust have extensive experience in Rhino, RhinoCAM or similar CNC programming softwareMust have a deep knowledge of CNC milling operations including tooling, feeds and speeds, and set upsMust have strong attention to detailAbility to create CNC programs based off of models provided by the Design teamPossess a positive and professional attitudeExtensive experience with computer modeling software.Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.Must be proficient in G Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
