To learn more about Berry, visit**Responsibilities**Position Summary By means of pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other means, The Warehouse Person is responsible for the movement of product in connection receiving, storing, and distribution functions.  II.Areas of Responsibility A. Gets along with others. Shows up on time. Reports to work as required. Work the entire shift in a productive manner. Follow directions from Supervisor and other employees in a position of authority. Ability to take and use constructive criticism. Follow all company rules. B. Reads schedules, pick list, packing list, and, or, material requisitions to determine items to be move, gathered, distributed, staged, and, or, loaded.  C. Pulls stock for customer orders and loads trucks by hand or forklift. D. Checks customer orders for accuracy and completeness. E. Performs blind checks as required. F. Conveys materials and items from receiving areas to storage and, or, designated areas. G. Records movement activity accordingly.  H. Promotes and supports the Total Quality Management process within the department. I. Communicates and cooperates with other employees in a positive and constructive manner to achieve the goals of the department. J. Promotes safety by following all plant safety rules and reports violations and unsafe practices to the production supervisor. K. Promotes GMP policy and product safety.  L. Participates in cycle counting and maintains a clean and orderly work area.  M. Prepares Bills of Lading and processes shipping documents. N. Other duties as assigned. **Qualifications**A. Good attention to detail. B. Able to operate a forklift. C. Good written and verbal communication skills. D. Able to read, write, speak and understand English directions/instructions. E. Basic math skills.  F. Able to work overtime on any shift on short notice. G. Required to lift boxes weighting up to 35 lbs. H. Must be able to work safely and follow safety rules and JSA procedures.I. Demonstrate computer knowledge in DcLink, JDE, and QSI.
