A Better Life Recovery is looking for Detox Support Staff to provide superior care for our detox and residential substance use disorder clients.

A Better Life is a residential detoxification and residential behavioral health provider serving those who are seeking treatment to learn coping skills for severe substance use disorders.As you enter our facilities, you’ll soon notice that we’re different from most substance use disorder treatment centers.

With an intensive focus on clinical evidence-based treatment, along with personalized and compassionate care, we offer substance use disorder treatment that changes lives.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Other duties may be assignedConduct rounds in a residential home for up to 6 clients.Be familiar and able to deal with acute substance use disorder clients undergoing intensive medical detox protocolsExperience in a detox environmentFamiliarity with 12-step and other substance use disorder recovery models.Be willing to work with client in a non-lockdown setting with acute psychiatric and substance use disorder diagnoses.Have basic computer skills, and are willing to learn how to use an electronic healthcare system.Communicate and document shift notes.Ensures participant safety.Maintain the integrity of the residence during all shiftsTEAM FITTeam Player, Compassionate, Reliable and Dedicated are the attributes that we believe in the most at A Better Life Recovery .

– Staff must meet this criteria in order to gain employment:Valid Driver’s License for at least 4 years with a clean driving recordCOVID-19 VaccinationPrevious Substance Abuse Detox experience preferredJob Type: Full-time (Part time work is also available) with weekend availabilityShift Schedules:1st Shift: 6:30am-2:30pm2nd Shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm preferred3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:00amPay: $18/hourBenefits:Health, Dental, VisionMatching 401kGym MembershipOpportunity for advancement
