Pump Repair Engineer

Responsibilities of the Pump Repair Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Provide technical assistance regarding shop overhauls
• Working in a Pump Repair Shop
• Compile and develop technical reports on equipment
• Manage the QA/QC Program
• Perform field job walks; prepare work scopes, material lists and execution plans
• Maintain customer accounts

Qualifications of the Pump Repair Engineer include, but are not limited to:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Two-years’ experience in a related industry
• Good communications and writing skills
• Proficiency with Excel and SolidWorks
• Good verbal and communicative skills
• Previous experience in the field of mechanical and/or pump hydraulic design is required
• Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Climb ladders; lift 20 pounds

Working Conditions: Primarily shop environment

Training/Certifications: Experience with SolidWorks

Shift Time/Overtime: Normally day shift with periodic overtime

Travel: Rare

Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience
