Cabinet Installer

This is a Full-time position in Anaheim, CA posted April 25, 2022.

Job Summary: The Cabinet Installer, based on provided designs and components, will construct, erect, install, and repair custom storage systems and accessories using laminate wood, edge-banding, hardware and other materials, requiring your skills with hand tools and power tools.

Training is provided.

Duties and Responsibilities: * Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry work to install custom storage systems such as closets, cabinets, offices, and other spaces in the home or commercial buildings.

* Utilize company provided CAD drawingsblueprints to properly and efficiently install systems.

* Assist in loading truck at the shop.

* Assists in the removal and installation of materials in customer homes.

* Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working order.

Tools are provided.

* Prepare and organize tool bag.

Carry material and stage for installer at the customers’ home.

Stage necessary hardware for the installer.

* Provide a high level of customer service for in-home installations.

* Install materials such as poles and adjustable shelving safely and maintain safety standards at all times.

* Clean system (wipe & vacuum) job site.

System touch up of parts and ability to identify defects.

* Capable of hanging system rail for wall hung systems, prep partitions with brackets.

Install lock shelves.

* Install belt, tie and garment racks.

Install connector shelves.

Install TAG Engage accessories.

Install cleats with hooks and adjust drawers, sliding baskets and Install Vertical Dividers.

* Review paperwork with customer and collect payment as needed.

* Responsible for driving to and from customer sites and maintaining company provided vehicles in a safe manner.

Report any vehicle problems to the company immediately.

* Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Installer and/or Supervisor.

Qualifications: * Must maintain valid driver’s license and clean driving record * High School diploma * Entry level role * Experience with common hand and power tools * Trade or vocational school experience desirable * Cabinetry or carpentry skills desirable * Understand all wall types and proper methods of securing.

* Understand how to work with and around different obstacles in the process of installing.

* Must have ability to read, understand and check plans.

* Strong verbal and written communication and listening skills * Must adhere to attendance standards and report to work on time each morning.

* Able to provide high level of customer service * Able to work individually and in teams * Able to meet the physical demands of the position
