Goodwill Southern California is looking for E – Commerce associates to join our incredibly entrepreneurial team . You will be part of a growing e-commerce team that is focused on growing direct-to-consumer sales, improving the web shopping experience and updating web content for effective merchandising. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of e-commerce in an entry level position. Passionate and knowledgeable about collectables, designer clothes and goods, thrift shopping, or social media a plus!
Goodwill is a 7 day operation, with all shifts available: Weekday AM (starting at 6am), Weekday PM (ending at 9pm), and Weekend AM only (starting at 6am). This is not a remote opportunity. The Ecommerce Associate will work at our Community Enrichment Center at 3150 N San Fernando Rd, Los Angeles, CA 90065.
Candidates should be highly organized and comfortable with data entry and excel. A passion for Goodwill’s mission is a must. Excellent communication skills & strong attention to detail is also a must.

Responsibilities:
- Identification of goods, photographing, describing, posting, picking, packing, and shipping
- Ensuring copy details, format, technical specs, and images are accurate
- Pick, pack, process and ship all online orders using packaging guidelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues
- Reviewing the site regularly to identify any product, merchandising, or inventory needs
- Purging items that do not sell online
- Inspecting, researching and determining sell price of collectibles, designer and unique items
Education & Experience:
- Experience in customer service, merchandise handling, shipping/warehouse experience preferred
- Computer literacy required; Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook email application and internet skills preferred
- Independent self-starter who can work without close supervision, extremely proactive and organized with attention to detail
- Ability to plan work to meet tight deadlines and unexpected situations and/or requests
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English required
- Quality assurance or control experience helpful
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

- Execute online marketing activities and drive e-commerce
- Understand developing e-commerce technology trends
- Establish and manage e-commerce pricing framework
- Manage the e-commerce weekly ad promotional strategy
- Launch successful pilot e-commerce program and use learnings to evolve full-scale e-commerce platform
- Develop customer specific digital programs and e-commerce strategies
- Develop e-commerce strategy and create e-channel as a prominent channel for sales
- Ensure all e-commerce practices are aligned to the marketing strategy
- Identify and execute growth strategies for the e-commerce business
- Implement and evaluate e-commerce promotions leveraging social media programs
- Impact e-commerce efforts and the customer experience on the web
- Validate e-commerce strategy (both existing and future customers)
- Manage the e-commerce redesign efforts
- Assist e-commerce director in analyzing business performance to drive growth
- Motivate, mentor and educate an e-commerce team
- Develop e-commerce growth strategies that support maximum growth and profitability
- Manage any activity that impacts the e-commerce channel and website
- Provide job direction to associates regarding e-commerce orders
- Develop and execute approach in the e-commerce area
- Support the marketing and e-commerce functionality for Midwest dealerships
