Responsibilities:
Estimates time, materials and labor required for each job.
Communicate comfortably with; customers, clients, vendors, suppliers etc..
Studies new equipment lists and options, market buying trends, company policies and promotions, and rebate incentives offered by utility companies and manufacturers.
Returns customer phone calls within 24 hours.
Schedules prompt and convenient estimate for customers.
Drafts proposals reflecting take offs in preparation to submit to customer Delivers estimate package to customer.
Inspects completed job and ensures customer satisfaction.
Employs customer Code of Ethics.
Other duties may be required Attend and participate in weekly estimating meetings
Education, Skills and Experience:

1-3 years of experience in an estimation role for an electrical construction company Experience in electrical estimation EBM/Planswift/Accubid/McCormic software experience is a plus Read and understand Blueprints; Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical.
In addition, understand project specific specifications Ability to identify items on said bid documents with intent to provide RFIs, issues and conflicts prior to bid.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings, specs, cut sheets Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to use Microsoft Word & EXCEL proficiently Ability to attend job walks with customers and clients with the purpose and intent to bid electrical related work.
