Entry Level QC Inspector – Aerospace

This is an entry-level role with no experience required.

A Day in the Life of a QC Inspector

Your role would be working with our QC Inspection team, using various techniques and inspection tools to verify the quality and dimensions of manufactured parts.

· Inspects finished parts in order to classify products for use, rework or scrap.

· Measures dimensions of product, using various measuring instruments, such as indicators, calipers, gauges, or micrometers, to verify conformance to specifications.

· Compares findings with customer specifications to ensure conformance to standards.

· Collects or selects samples for testing.

· Reads work orders to determine inspection criteria.

· Computes statistical data using computer software and prepares appropriate reports.

· Notifies supervisor or specified personnel of deviations from specifications.

· Examines product or monitors processing of product, using any or all of five senses, to determine defects.

· Records inspection or test data, such as hardness, size, surface finish, run-out, and quantity inspected.

· Prepares reports for customers, including defect reports for customer disposition.

· Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

· An ideal team player mindset: drive, humility and people smarts.

· NO experience necessary; 1
– 2 years of inspection experience a plus.

· Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn.

· Computer skills (Microsoft Office)

· Strong oral and written communication skills

· Attention to detail, attention to accuracy in work tasks, organizational skills

· Ability to work within a fast-paced environment

· Ability to be flexible with job duties

The Extra Benefits

This position operates Monday through Friday, from 5:00 a.m.

to 3:30 p.m.

Additional overtime and Saturdays may be required.
