Feeder Operator Printing

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Feeder / Second Man ( Komori / KBA )
Shift: 1st Shift (M-F
– 6:00am
– 2:30pm)

Job Purpose:
The purpose of the Komori Press Operator is to operate and maintain:

1) Komori LS 640 + AQ

2) KBA 106 8 Color + Coater

Keeping the printing press in optimal condition and using the automation and technology provided to ensure quality output.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Operate Printing Press and other presses as scheduled.
2) Maintains equipment, troubleshoots equipment problems
3) Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required
4) Makes adjustments as required to return output to the proper specifications.
5) Accepts and receives supervision and assistance with regard to machine setup
6) Tracks and records all consumables and through put of equipment
7) Keeps color profiles necessary for consistency and calibration
8) Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
9) Follows prescribed safety regulations
10) Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required
11) Communicates status of jobs to department manager and or floor supervisor

Requirements:

1) Experience with Komori or KBA printing presses.
2) Ability to read and comprehend job tickets and customer specifications
3) Ability to communicate effectively with other employees of the organization
4) Excellent attention to detail including color perception and recognition
5) The employee is regularly required to stand.
6) Proficient in the use of emails and proper use of production logs
7) Able to commit to overtime and weekend work when requested or scheduled.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00
– $22.00 per hour
