GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK PERFORMEDEmployee is responsible to pull orders accurately and in a timely and safe manner. Employee must be able to work as a team with co workers and the rest of the plant personnel.RESPONSIBILITIESPull ordersShrink wrap and palletize order -often by handLoad truck loads and LTL’sOrganize and maintain warehouse area cleanOther duties as assignedWear protective equipment as required (safety glasses and safety vest a minimum)Participate in the cleaning of the warehouse and eye wash stationFollow all safety rulesMINIMUM PRIOR KNOWLEDGE AND/OR EXPERIENCEBe forklift certifiedGood math skillsHave at least 1-2 years’ experience in shipping and receivingBilingual (English & Spanish) a plusExperience driving a clamp is a plusDetail orientedBe able to communicate efficiently & effectivelyHave reliable transportationPosses the ability to lift, stoop and bend with no restrictionsFlexible to work Saturday’s when requiredParticipate during inventory (yearly)Be able to work as a teamCLC TRAINING REQUIREDForklift CertificationBattery ChargingEye Wash StationStandard Safety TrainingEQUIPMENT/TOOLS USEDForkliftPallet JacksLabel PrinterBox CuttersShockDollySAFETYFollow all safety rules and proceduresProperly use required safety equipmentSafety glasses are the minimum when in the plant.
