Our teams develop and release over 100 new products a year and continue to grow our vast patent portfolio.nn nn n nn nn Position Overview nn nnOur Audio Power Engineer will focus on developing new products specifically related to Class D Audio Power Amplifiers with switch mode power supplies.

Our team consists of industry leading experts who are challenged to develop some of the best products in the industry.

nn nn n nn nn Responsibilities nn Develop Class D audio power amplifiers and switch mode power supplies.

Design and construct various magnetic components for power supply designs.

Printed circuit board layout design and schematics using CAD software Ensure compliance and safety standards related to power supply design are met.

Collaborate with Extron Safety and Compliance Engineers during design phase to meet standards Creation of electrical block diagrams, architecture diagrams, schematics, circuit analysis, and design presentations.

Research and develop new technologies and innovations nn Requirements nn BSEE with min 3-5 years relative engineering experience Experience working with Audio Power Electronics, Switch mode Power Supplies or Class D Amplifiers Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as UL Strong PCB Design and Layout Experience designing products through to manufacturing and EMC.
