Sheet Metal Fabricator, Welder, Installer
American Sheet Metal, a dynamic full service fabrication job shop serving a wide array of industries throughout Southern California is seeking an experienced, fabricator/welder and occasional field installation.

Work in the shop and install parts at customers’ facilities when required (sheet metal and miscellaneous metals).

Must be experienced in welding various materials (stainless, aluminum, carbon steel, miscellaneous & light structural steel) and processes (TIG, MIG, Flux Core).

Emphasis on Stainless Steel fabrication knowledge.

Must be able to pass AWS weld tests for certification.

Personal tools and truck desirable.

Must be able to lift 75 lbs unassisted.

Ability to work unsupervised, be an independent thinker and be the lead in the field .

Operate various shop equipment and hand power tools.

Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.

Must be motivated and have excellent team building skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to solve problems independently or as part of a team.

Must be able to multi-task, easily adapt to change, be organized, reliable and a TEAM PLAYER!
