This involves strengthening relationships with executive and technical contacts across an organization.You will be responsible for challenging customers’ current way of working, demonstrating how Aiven’s open-source, managed data services effectively and efficiently allow software development teams to drastically improve time-to-market, while keeping costs in line with budget expectations.Successful candidates must develop a strong understanding of the Aiven solution, competitive and political landscape, as well as the partner ecosystem in their region.Your success will come from:Developing existing accounts by strengthening existing relationships with our customers, identifying and qualifying new stakeholders within the organization and developing compelling business cases at a strategic levelWorking with Solutions Architects collaboratively to maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities sufficient to meet and exceed monthly revenue targetsAccurate and predictable forecasting of business by successfully managing the sales processesClosing sales opportunities utilizing superior presentation and negotiation skillsExperience and a strong confidence in presenting and closing business at the VP and C-levelDeveloping proposals, responding to RFP’s and conducting sales presentationsRequirements5 years of software / managed services sales experience with enterprise customersSolution selling vs product sellingConsistent track record of overachievement against revenue targetsSuccess in a collaborative environmentExperience with Cloud, SaaS (preferred)Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline growth via account managementHistory of selling to development and/or product organizationsBenefitsAn agile working environment with short decision pathsFlexible working hours, including remote workChoose the devices and tools that make you work the bestParticipation in employee stock option planYou will be part of a highly-skilled, tight-knit team, making your contribution essential to what is becoming a great success story.
