Foodservice Regional Sales Manager

This is a Full-time position in Anaheim, CA posted January 2, 2022.

This is a remote field position based out of a home office.

We are flexible on your location throughout the state of California, but prefer that the candidate be located in Southern California within one hour of a major airport.

As a Region Sales Manager on our Foodservice sales team, you will execute sales programs to sell the organization’s products into foodservice distribution, regional chain accounts, and all non-commercial segments including K-12, by penetrating account opportunities across the western US.

You will work with our sales agency in coordinating sales activities at the market and customer level.

You will report to a Foodservice Sales Director.

You Will:

– Achieve assigned quarterly and annual sales goals.

Update and communicate progress with Management.

– Work to maximize the business plan sales and profit within brand strategies and guidelines.

– Conduct market analysis to determine customer needs, measure opportunity, and propose financials for sales accounts.

– Develop, foster, and maintain strong customer and distributor, customer and sales agency relationships while ensuring proper communication of important information.

– Deliver sales presentations to important customers, often in coordination with our Sales Agency.

– Provide product training at sales agency and distributor level.

– Maintain assigned priority accounts in

You Have:

– 8+ years of progressive foodservice sales experience, to include distributor, account and sales agency management.

– Experience managing multiple product categories and customers.

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in sales, trade, and marketing concepts and methods.

– Experience in development and maintenance of customer relations and promotions management across multiple markets.

– Ability to interpret and use multiple information sources to develop strategy and tactics (i.e.

Tibersoft, Technomics)

– Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and applications, including Excel for sorting and basic formulas.

– Experience establishing and maintaining working relationships externally with our strategic customers, agency partners and distributors; internally with Category Marketing, Business Development, Customer Service and Finance.

– Experience in trade spending management; fiscal responsibility.

– Travel up to 60% of the time in a combination of day and overnight trips.
