GPR FIELD SUPERVISOR

This is a Full-time position in Anaheim, CA posted February 9, 2022.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As a GPR Field Supervisor, you will have direct contact with clients, support directs to perform and analyze scans, document critical data, write comprehensive reports and inform clients of findings. Act in an Account Manager capacity and source new business on a regular basis. Schedule, coordinate and supervise employee’s activities.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a GPR Field Supervisor, you will plan and supervise scan analyst’s activities daily and provide support not limited to: performing scans at customer sites, producing written findings, coordinating assigned work with various companies/departments/customers, and any and all responsibilities associates with the GPR Scan Analyst (Levels I, II & III) roles.

Maintain liaison with estimating and planning teams to ensure work complies with customer specifications and schedule.

Assist in resolving/troubleshooting any issues (lack of productivity, work interfaces etc.) as required.

Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements: document and ensure corrective measures are implemented as needed and all policies/practices up to date.

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This role will be 25% in an office environment and 75% in the field (industrial environment). This role routinely uses various industrial equipment such as ground penetrating radar, radio detection units, scissor lifts and boom lifts. In this role you must be comfortable in confined spaces and comfortable with various heights & lifts. In this role you will be at job sites with varying noise levels. Must be willing to work in weather conditions that may be adverse (hot/cold/rain)

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience required.
  • Expert with GPR, concrete scanning, utility location and/or general construction.
  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
  • Minimum of 6 years supervisory experience and/or proven ability to control and supervise large groups.
  • Solid customer service background exhibiting professionalism and confidence
  • Excellent communication skills both social and interpersonal.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce written reports and present results verbally.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office; including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Must pass a required pre-employment drug screen
  • Must pass a pre-employment background record check
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving history
  • Must be available to work days, nights, weekends and travel out of town if necessary
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs. or more
  • Must adhere to all safety rules and regulations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS/Masters (or in progress) in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or Archeology.
  • Strong Technical/Mechanical Aptitude

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

You must meet most requirements of GPR Scan Analyst III position as well as metrics outlined in the Incentive Plan associated with this position.
