Job Description The Senior Manager, eCommerce Marketing & Insights will lead and manage the implementation of strategies for the ecommerce and omnichannel wholesale partners.
They will drive the growth of our ecommerce channel, providing insights and developing strategies to grow our sales, while building brand equity online.
The work of the Sr.
Manager will impact sales and perception of the brands including across physical and digital channels.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMANCE MARKETING (SHOPPER MARKETING) Develop strategy for performance marketing investments with Amazon and retail.com accounts, partner with agency and Amazon teams to execute plans.
Determine Amazon marketing strategies to drive sales growth via search and DSP.
Raise standards and strategy for digital marketing approach.
Responsible for delivering against marketing KPIs and objectives.
Develop and oversee the digital marketing budget.
Own forecasting, monitoring and reporting.
Own relationship with Amazon marketing agency and other providers.
Blend sales and advertising objectives with brand priorities and product knowledge to make data-driven decisions on which products will be promoted, key word mapping, search and audience targeting ‘swimlanes’, and ad copy.
Partner with customers and marketing teams to develop/assess marketing investments with e-commerce and omni-channel partners.
DIGITAL BRAND MARKETING Define campaign calendars for shopper marketing in partnership with marketing and sales teams, considering brand and customer promotional calendars.
Collaborate with marketing teams to adapt campaign assets for use in digital advertising.
Develop strategy/processes for maintaining campaign assets across portfolio of ecommerce retailers.
Facilitate with corporate media team to explore opportunities for media investment towards wholesale retailers.
INSIGHTS AND ANALYTICS Aggregate market intelligence to understand trends in our industry/category to identify channel opportunities.
Utilize multiple research and intelligence tools to provide marketplace insights.
Responsible for reporting on performance of the brands in eCommerce channel, competitor trends, and impact of marketing investments.
Provide regular insights into KPIs, audience and seasonal trends that will inform business strategy and decision-making Consistently monitors competitive trends and stays abreast on industry best practices.
Manage up to 1 direct report BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in business, mathematics, engineering or related field from an accredited college/university.
5-7 years of related work experience in ecommerce, advertising or digital marketing.
Experience with Amazon marketing (search, DSP) Demonstrated ability to think strategically and deliver execution.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use data measure campaign performance and tell macro-story of brand performance online.
Strong teamwork and ability to influence cross functional teams.
Leadership experience preferred.
Advanced Excel, Power Point PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Media experience, including attribution/mix modeling.
Experience pulling insights from large data sets and turning insights into action.
