– Anaheim, CA“Come Grow With US”CG Landscape is seeking a hard-working, efficient, dedicated individual to join our team for the position of Junior Staff Accountant for our Anaheim Office.The ideal candidate must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to think and work independently with minimal supervision.This position will report directly to the Director of Accounting and will assist the President, Vice-President, Human Resource Manager, and Account Managers.CG Landscape is a fast-growing landscape company with revenues in excess of $10 million annually.The Company currently has five divisions: Maintenance, Irrigation, Landscape, Trees, and Pest Management.There are over 130 employees currently working for the company.

We are looking to expand the business and double our revenue over the next 5 years and are looking for the right team member to help us achieve this goal.The Jr.

Staff Accountant will communicate directly with all departments in the company as well as outside customers and vendors.The candidate must show a high level of integrity, professionalism, accuracy, and discretion.This position will have access to sensitive information and it is important that the information remain confidential.Job Duties:Prepare maintenance, irrigation, tree, and pest estimates for the 6 Account ManagersPrepare bids for potential new customers as assigned by the President and Vice PresidentGenerate and send out monthly maintenance invoices for over 400 customersGenerate and send out pest management invoicesAssist with irrigation invoicingPrepare contracts for new customersAssist with Accounts PayableAssist with collection on Accounts Receivable, recording payments, and bank depositsAssist with direct labor analysisAssist with annual budgets for customer accountsComplete month end schedules, journal entries, and reconciliationsAssist with month end reports and presentationReview income and expenses by cost center and identify miscoded items and make recommendation for adjustmentsMaintain truck maintenance schedules and fuel logs for over 50 vehiclesAssist Human Resource Manager with weekly payrollOther projects and duties assignedRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or related field (or 4 years of work experience)Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and WordBasic understanding of accounting, debits/credits, reconciliations, and journal entriesExperience with QuickBooks is a plusAbility to work well with othersStrong communication skillsStrong organizational,time management, and analytical skillsAbility to multi-taskDetail orientedMaintain professionalism in all written and verbal communicationReliable and responsibleTeam player that can thrive in a fast-paced environmentEmployee benefits:Paid holidaysPaid VacationWeekly PayrollBenefitsProfit participation opportunitiesCandidates have the opportunity to learn and advance to higher level management
