BASIC FUNCTION: The basic function of this job is to commence the processing of an order into the system, provide follow-up to the customer, planning, production, shipping, complete the monthly sales forecasts vs. actual. Forecast future sales, monitor inventory levels, facilitate returns for assigned customers and provide backup to other Customer Service Representatives, when necessary.
Providing introductory information to new customers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Input sales orders in SAP for shipment of product to customers.
Maintains contact with customer regarding shipment issues.
Performs other tasks as directed.
Coordinates and reconciles Inventories stored at External Warehouses .
Responds to external customer within 48 hours of purchase order receipt, via phone, fax, or e-mail.
Ensuring that customers are satisfied with products or services
Following up with customers to check that they’re still satisfied with any purchases
Letting customers or clients know about additional products or services
Determining the quickest, most effective ways to answer a client’s or customer’s questions
Escalating queries and concerns
Troubleshooting common issues with a product or service
Working with a team of CSRs and other departments to find appropriate solutions
REQUIREMENTS:
B.A. or A.S. in Business Administration desirable. H.S. Diploma and a minimum of 3 years experience as a Customer Service Representative, Inside Sales Rep or equivalent position. High proficiency of Excel, Word,, Power Point, Outlook. SAP experience desired. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, and conflict resolution skills. Must be detail oriented, analytical, and have good general mathematical abilities.
