ADARx Pharmaceuticals Inc.: Principal/Director, Chemistry

:We are looking for experienced and motivated chemist to join our Discovery Chemistry group to advance/drive cutting-edge RNA editing drug discovery programs.Responsibilities: Contribute to the advancement of programs by utilizing cutting-edge synthetic methodologies and techniques to design efficient syntheses of target compounds for existing chemical series and novel series Lead a team of internal synthetic chemists on experimental design, execution, integrated data analysis, and interpretation Enable chemistry via new technologies Prepare and present summaries of work for department and project meetings Requirements / Qualifications: PhD in synthetic organic chemistry or medicinal chemistry with 5-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry Demonstrated experience in leading and supervising internal project teams as well as prior experience working with CROs or academic collaborators Demonstrated track record of innovative scientific publications in high-profile journals or patents Superior laboratory skills and awareness of laboratory safety Excellent oral and written communication skillsCompensation This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday 8am 5pm and occasional overtime Pay commensurate with experience 401k with company match Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA, Employee Assistance Program, Employee Discounts Performance based bonuses PTO and HolidaysWork authorization: United States (Required) Background CheckADARx Pharmaceuticals is an EEO employer committed to an exciting, diverse, and enriching work environment.
