Medical Assistant

Actalent is looking for a Medical Assistant in Portland OR Description: JOB DUTIES: Greeting and preparing patients for medical examination
– will room 15-25 patients/day Screening patients for appropriate information and taking vitals Maintains and updates patient information as necessary Prepares equipment and assist provider during examination Instructs patients according to providers directions Clean and restock exam rooms as appropriate between patients Assists providers in completing medical record documentation as directed Oversees providers appointment schedule Performs telephone follow up Assist providers as required and directed Experience with triage of patient phone calls necessary Knowledge of HIPAA required and a knowledge of Centricity (EMR) would be helpful but not required Skills: cma, rma, health care, medical, medical assisting, EMR, EHR, vitals, phlebotomy, AAMA, NCCT, BLS, centricity Top Skills Details: cma,rma,health care,medical Additional Skills & Qualifications: MUST HAVES: CPR Certification
– or willing to get it EMR experience
