Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), 24 Hours/Week Dayshift, Acute Care

White Oak Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for our Respiratory Therapy Department who will embrace our mission to extend God&039;s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist you willPerform all necessary respiratory procedures using non-invasive methods, e.g.

CPAP and BIPAP therapies Perform respiratory care modalities that include oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, humidity-aerosol therapy, pulmonary drainage procedures, mechanical ventilation, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Participate in the diagnosis and evaluation of patients, recommend treatments, and advise doctors on best practices to control abnormal functions in the patient&039;s cardiopulmonary systems Administer blood gas samples and perform basic analysis Qualifications include: Associate degree in respiratory therapy Registered Respiratory Therapist as credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Active MD RRT license 2 years of experience as a licensed respiratory therapist Excellent communication skills, written and verbal Strong working knowledge of most up-to-date therapy procedures for patients Excellent bedside manner At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.

Work Schedule: Part-time 24 hours/week, 12 hour shifts Every 3rd weekend required COVID-19 Vaccination Adventist HealthCare requires all applicants to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 before commencing employment.
