Design, build, + maintain efficient, reusable, + reliable Java code. Troubleshoot existing apps. Ensure perf, quality, + responsiveness of apps. ID perf bottlenecks + dev sols. Dev + execute unit tests. ID + impl key app metrics + monitoring sols. Research + utilize new tech. Assist in dev + del of project plans, task est, + sched. Mentor Jr. engineers + review code. Use CloudWatch, Kafka, Kubernetes, Elastisearch, + Redis. May undergo background checks incl drug screen and ref check. Must have Bach in Comp Sci or rel field and 7 yrs rel software dev exp. Also reqs following skills (2 yrs exp): Hibernate, Spring Core, Web and knowledgeable dependency injection mechanics; dev RESTful web APIs; AWS prods (EC2, RDS, SQS, Kinesis, Lambda); Linux command line and rel sys troubleshooting utils; various design and arch patterns; Mongo NOSQL DB; secure Java code and adhere to team style guides; fundamental design principles behind a scalable app how it fits into larger, dist platform; versioning tools (CVS, Git).
