ACS Solutions has an immediate need for a Software Engineer Senior Specialist with experience in the Defense Industry. This is a 12 months contract opportunity (with long-term potential – only include if relevant) and is located in 602 East Vermont Avenue Anaheim California 92805. Our client is a leading Defense company.

Top Skills:

• 5+ years of experience with C.
  * 5+ years of experience in programming microcontrollers.
  * 5+ years of experience with design and implementation of multithreaded software.
• Platform experience using Linux/Windows, C and GCC
• Embedded software design, development, and test

Key Responsibilities:

• Is able to perform requirements analysis including deriving software requirements
  * Is able to transform software requirements and system design into a software architecture targeting a system on a chip (SOC)
  * Is a self-starter, able to implement a wide variety of complex hands-on coding assignments
  * Leads small teams, develops and reviews designs, estimates and delegates tasks, mentor’s teammates
  * Demonstrates ability to learn the complex SW architecture
  * Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development methodology
