For more information visit www.Agc-nelco.ComJob SummaryThe Mixer position is responsible for ensuring that the necessary chemicals are ordered and available when needed.

They are responsible for the safe movement and storage of both dry and liquid chemicals received on site.

They are responsible to ensure that batches of product are completed as needed to meet production schedule.

The Mixer is also responsible for handling hazardous waste which includes disposal of used products into drums, proper labeling of waste drums, documentation of waste drums stored and sent off site as well as communicating with the Environmental Health and Safety Department.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Mixing of resins and chemicals to specific recipes to meet production requirements Maintain control of chemical inventory and notify purchasing of potential material shortages.

Proper handling and storage of hazardous waste Maintain cleanliness and organization of chemical storage and mixing areas Communication of Environmental, Safety and Quality Issues to appropriate individuals.

Communication of product status to all departments as required or requested.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to have the ability to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, feel or grasp objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear; and smell.

The employeemust be capable of lifting and/or move/carry light to medium weights of up to 50 pounds and drums with drum handling equipment.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee may be required to perform these duties while wearing respiratory protection.The incumbent must be team oriented, and have the ability to relate successfully to a diverse group of people.

Must be organized and detail oriented.

Must have the ability to perform and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must possess the ability to handle stressful situations and work well under pressure.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal are a necessity.
