Funding Specialists will need to handle financial transactions and approvals from clients, along with releasing appropriate payments to be mailed to providers.Essential FunctionsAudit daily check register reportsAssemble weekly or daily funding request information for clientsCommunicate appropriate funding information and requirements to clientsAccurately track all funding transactions on a client basisHandle releasing payments to providers or taking action on certain paymentsRecord bank transactions for specific clientsProcess claim payments for various vendor feesDeposit checks received in the Funding DepartmentSort through and correctly handle mail received in the Funding DepartmentSkills & AbilitiesWord – Basic levelExcel – Intermediate levelAccess – Basic levelCommunication Skills – written and verbalExcellent organizational skillsExperienceAccounting/Finance or Collections background preferredEducationBachelor’s Degree In Accounting/Finance Or Equivalent Experience PreferredPHYSICAL DEMANDSSitting at a desk for an extended periodAble to handle stressful situationsAbility to work under pressureWORK ENVIRONMENTFully Virtual.Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of our background and drug screening process.
