Municipal Tree trimming contractor now hiring and accepting resumes for Grant Supervisor
position located at Anaheim Corporate office.
The Grand Supervisor will be responsible for the development and preservation of current and future grant programs for WCA, Inc. The Grant Supervisor supervises Grant Coordinator and provides general support to Area Manager, Supervisor, and CSR. Programs include but are not limited to monthly and quarterly urban forestry grant submittals, office administration, field staff work, public outreach events/project coordination.
Must have experience with municipal, government grant management & programs, and urban forestry programs.
Can write grant proposals memorandums of understanding and management of existing grants already in progress. Developing and strengthening partnerships with industry, educational, and non-profit partners, and monthly and quarterly reporting and invoicing of grant work.
Experience in tree maintenance or certification through I.S.A. is ideal but not essential.
Qualifications:
College degree recommended
High level of organizational skills,
Compute literacy
Basic clerical aptitude
Reliability
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Certified Arborist preferred
GIS knowledge preferred

Job Requirements:
REGULAR JOB DUTIES
Attends special urban forestry programs, including CAUFC, natural resources, wildlife, and other industry events.
Submits grant applications and reporting for existing grant funded programs with non-profit partners.
Research grant funding opportunities, presents them to grant team and management for discussion.
Helps facilitate multiple public outreach events associated with urban tree planting and recycling.
Helps to train various non-profits on benefits of trees.
Coordinates weekly with partner agencies and non-profit groups via conference calls.
Plans, maintains, organizes, and updates programs as needed to Management Team via written report.
Utilizes Arbor Access tree inventory program, iTree, and GHG calculation tools to complete grant tasks.
Coordinate with various regional Area Managers.
Coordinates with Urban Wood team on current grant program and future opportunities.
