Career Services Specialist (Hybrid Work Options Available)

SUMMARY:Reporting to the campus Director Career Services, the Career Services Specialist coordinates the graduate student employment assistance process to meet student, alumni, institutional and industry needs; assists students in gaining meaningful employment in jobs applicable to their field of study; assists students with the job search process, including teaching workshops and critiquing resumes.

Coordinates Career Job Fairs with related employer representatives/groups.

Provides excellent customer service to current and graduating students in accordance with the mission and purpose of the university.

Works and coordinates in person site visits with the campus Director of Career Services and the campus Clinical Manager to local clinical settings, health care organizations, and other potential sites of opportunity.EDUCATION:Bachelors degree in education, administration, business management, student personnel, related field or equivalent experience required.LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Resume writer certification preferred.KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:Minimum 2 years of prior experience in higher education setting such as career services, advising preferably in healthcare or healthcare recruitment background.#HEJ #LI-SW1ABOUT USFor over 100 years, West Coast University has been educating and preparing students for professional careers across our six campuses located in Southern California, Dallas, Miami, and Online.
