Key Responsibilities
-Greeting guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner
-Solid familiarity with all hotel facilities, room types, food and beverage outlets, recreational activities, and emergency procedures
-Create memorable experiences by personalizing all guest requests, enthusiastically sharing knowledge of surrounding area with a storyteller’s flair.
-Expert knowledge of local dining, shopping, entertainment offerings, attractions, special events, and city landmarks
-Solve problems by thinking outside the box and operating with minimal supervision in order to achieve 100% Guest Satisfaction
-Develop relationships with surrounding establishments to be able to provide the highest level of guest service
-Serving each guest on a one-to-one basis with the utmost courtesy, enthusiasm, and passion
-Work directly with the Guest Experience Manager to develop and implement the hotel VIP program – paying special attention to high-level VIPs to ensure all special requests are in order prior to arrival
-Prepare and deliver amenities for special occasions, special packages, VIPs, etc.
-Willingness and desire to seek out opportunities to WOW our guests by going above and beyond on a daily basis
Requirements/Skills
-Ability to effectively deal with internal and external guests with a high level of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
-Ability to suggest a wide variety of attractions for guest entertainment, as well as the ability to give accurate and clear directions.
-Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare simple calculations without error.
-Ability to accurately access and input information using the hotel’s computer system.
-Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
-Minimum two years of experience as a Concierge in a full service hotel or equivalent experience in an upper upscale environment.

-Ability to push/pull up to 100 pounds
-Ability to reach and bend
-Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment
