Alamo Trust, Inc

This is a Contract position in Anaheim, CA posted June 5, 2022.

This position is responsible for performing janitorial, housekeeping and other miscellaneous duties to ensure The Alamo Complex is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner for visitors and staff.

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide a professional, efficient, and approachable support and service while maintaining a high level of customer service to staff and the ATI at all times.

Sweep, mop and or vacuum all floors as scheduled.

Dust all furniture and fixtures as required.

Wash and disinfect all bathroom floors, toilets, toilet seats and fixtures on scheduled basis during operating hours and at the end of each day.

Clean all glass to include display surfaces on a periodic basis during operating hours and at prior to opening.

Replenish toilet tissue, soap and other products as needed and a scheduled basis during operating hours and prior to opening or at the end of each day.

Empty all waste baskets, garbage cans, urns and other receptacles periodically during operating hours and either prior to opening or at the end of each day.

Cleans spills, biohazards and other mishaps as discretely and as soon as possible, disposing of waste in appropriate manner.

Clean employee break rooms, kitchens, counters and tables daily.

Cleans snack/picnic area on periodic basis as needed.

Clean displays, plaques and signage daily.

Picks up trash on grounds, sidewalks, in garden beds or any other areas of within The Alamo Complex.

Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner.

Performs related work as required.

Performs any other duties as may reasonably be required by the Facilities Manager and /or Director of Facilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must possess basic knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions involved with the housekeeping and janitorial work.

Must have knowledge and proficiency in working with equipment and supplies required to perform housekeeping and janitorial work.

Must be able to respond to questions promptly and accurately.

Must be able to deal with various levels of personality traits and maintain self-control.

Must be self-motivated and willing to work with others.

Must possess a positive attitude.

Must conduct oneself in a professional and efficient manner during interaction with people.

Must have integrity and basic desire to contribute to the success of The Alamo.

Must be able to work any shift including weekends, nights and holidays; and/or work extended hours if required.

Satisfactory completion of background and post-offer drug and alcohol testing.

LANGUAGE SKILLS & EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION Must speak, read and write English Additional fluency in other languages is beneficial Must be able to provide documents establishing identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
