Job Details

Demand Planner

A global consumer products company is recruiting an energetic and enthusiastic Demand Planner to join our team! This individual is responsible for demand forecast, inventory flow analysis and inventory replenishment for major retailers. To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly analytical and with strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to seek input and align on consensus forecast that drive replenishment based on established inventory targets
Propose and implement solutions to improve forecast accuracy, maintain in-stock levels, minimize lost sales and maximize inventory turnover rate.
Respond to all customer related inquiry requests, conduct inventory analysis and determine replenishment qty to deliver excellent fill rates
Follow up PO’s and expedite inventory to meet customer expectation and minimize cuts
Provide input and recommendations to improve sales and operation planning processes and refine our replenishment strategies.
Prepare and maintain relevant inventory reports and create other reports as needed.

Minimum 2-year supply chain planning and inventory management experiences preferred in consumer-packaged goods industry
Understanding of purchasing, inventory and warehouse operational processes, planning experience for eCommerce channel preferred
Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, and demonstrated experience with data analysis, experience with Sage 100 (MAS 200) is a plus
Bachelor’s degree is required in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross functional teams
Detailed oriented and strong attention to accuracy
