We are looking for an individual who loves to develop photo-real CG elements and FX.

To be a successful CG Generalist in our company, this person needs to be a strong communicator with extensive knowledge of VFX workflows and performing a variety of 3D skills.This role best suits someone who can perform a diverse array of 3D disciplines and participate in creative and technical discussions.ResponsibilitiesCreate photo-real CG elements and FXPerform a diverse array of 3D disciplines such as look dev, animation, modelling, rigging, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, effects, particle simulation, tracking, and compositing for product specific projectsCandidate is required to dissect creative concepts with complex requests into concrete and achievable VFX shots using a variety of third-party and/or custom built plugins and scriptsWork with the internal team to develop visual direction for product commercials and other various types of video content according aligned with the project brief and any provided referencesGather and convert product CADs to .OBJ or equivalent file type suitable for 3D workflowsDeliver work within established project targets and aligned with the high quality standards of the departmentOrganize and manage work to be able to function in a VFX production pipeline and implement received feedback from the Post-Supervisor and internal teamResponsible for executing the entirety of a shot or sequence of shots from conception to deliveryWork efficiently with the internal team to address technical and creative problems during the pre-production, production, and post-production stagesStay up to date with the latest developments in VFX and 3D design and open to learning new tools and skillsCollaborate effectively with the video editors to ensure seamless integration of work between disciplinesUse 3D camera tracking to extract camera movement data from shots through alembic camera methodsRequirements Bachelors in related field or equivalent experience.High-level technical knowledge of various CG disciplines with 3+ years experience in a post-production environment focused on commercial video content.Working knowledge in the following software: Maya, Blender, Houdini, Rhino, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Nuke and/or Fusion, Substance Designer/Painter, Quixel Megascans, and render engines such as, VRay, Octane, and Redshift; Python scripting and Unreal Engine knowledge is a plus.Experience with KeenTools GeoTracker for Nuke used for compositing 3D models is a plus.Previous experience with dynamic and fluid FXStrong knowledge of full CG animation, modelling, rigging, texturing, shading, lighting, rendering, particle simulation, and compositingBroad post-production knowledge of VFX techniques and workflowsStrives in a deadline-driven and fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills and team playerAble to take and implement feedback across multiple iterationsKnowledge of camera techniques with a strong understanding of lighting lighting principles and color theoryExperience ingesting and rendering various codecs and file types as well knowledge of color science and color management systems such as ACESPortfolio/Reel examples demonstrating all of the above skills including breakdowns is required for consideration
