Depending on role and business needs, colleagues will either work onsite, in a hybrid model (combination of in-office and virtual days) or fully virtually.The Insurance Regulatory Analyst will demonstrate the following: Support AAC to ensure proper program requirements are met as defined per the Complaint Program Governing policy to meet internal compliance and external regulatory guidelines Acknowledge complaints timely, escalate as needed and ensure Customers and/or Regulators are informed throughout the process Manage resolution of complaints and liaise with internal staff, Third Party Vendors and the Complaint Program Office to ensure timely resolution of complaints Adhere to regulatory reporting requirements, enhance policies and procedures regularly and actively engage with business partners to enhance the process and drive better results for Customers Provide thoughtful guidance to Third Party Partners and other BU teams that support AAC Keep abreast of and comply with NAIC or state changes impacting AAC’s complaint processes Prepare and distribute reports to leadership, impacted partners, the Complaint Program Office and any other entities as required Use strong analytical skills to focus on issues, generate creative solutions, and evaluate risks to mitigate risk to the company Engage with a spirit of excellence by leveraging an authentic leadership model Support audit and regulatory exam requests Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure program requirements are met Develop and maintain strong working relationships with business partners and internal stakeholders (e.g., other Global Risk and Compliance colleagues, General Counsel’s Organization, Operational Excellence, Independent Compliance Testing, Privacy, Internal Audit Group) Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum Qualifications: 3 years of experience in the Insurance or banking industry with a primary focus on compliance, or related experience College degree or equivalent work experience preferred Self-starter with strong affinity for driving change Strong leadership skills and proven ability to influence decisions, communicate, and collaborate effectively at all levels of an organization Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently, work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt easily to frequent change Proven writing skills including legal, compliance and risk perspective with an appropriate balance toward Relationship Care and quality Strong communicator with the ability to effectively collaborate, partner and consult with regulators, senior leaders, and business partners Strong time management and proven ability to meet deadlines and evolving business needs Flexible work schedule to occasionally accommodate internal and regulatory deadlines Strong MS Office skills Solid and effective Project Management skills Must be able to prioritize effectively leveraging strong organization and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy, and a quick learner Strong verbal and written communication skills Prior credit card industry, compliance, legal or risk experience High degree of integrity, comfort with speaking up for what is right as well as reporting/escalating risks and concerns Professional individual with proven track record of working effectively with other team members.
