Inventory Control Associate

Currently we are seeking a candidate to join our United States Temporary Power team as an Inventory Control Associate.

Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Employee Assistance Program 401(k) with matching Paid Time Off Summary: The Inventory Control Associate coordinates all orders and movement of temporary power equipment for our multiple offices.

Job Responsibilities: Manage all incoming inventory orders from the outlying offices.

Provide timely updates to customers on status of orders.

Work with manufacturing shop on order fulfillment.

Communicate with area managers on department needs and inventory levels.

Assist in the coordination of delivery drivers for order fulfillment.

Communicates with people on all levels in a multitude of organizations.

Follow up with purchasing team on status of orders to meet customers needs.

Report all work injuries and vehicular accidents to supervisor immediately (Injuries and accidents you are involved in will be evaluated to determine if it was preventable) Adhere to Power Plus safety and quality standards when setting and/or picking up equipment, including the use of OSHA-compliant safety equipment hard hats, etc.

Accurately document all orders and fulfillment of orders to ensure accurate inventory controls.

Visit outlying offices on a regular basis to help establish inventory procedures.

Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.

Competencies/Requirements: Competencies: Strong organization skills and work ethic, requiring minimal supervision.

Able to interact and communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization with tact and diplomacy and in accordance with the company customer service philosophy.

Proven ability to provide meticulous attention to detail while meeting aggressive deadlines.

Able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

Above average attention to detail in composing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.

Strong problem-solving abilities with exceptional professional judgment and work ethic.

Ability to work as a member of a high performing team as a strong team player.

Ability to learn the equipment utilized in the temporary power industry.

Requirements: Two or more years of experience in working in an inventory control and dispatch environment Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Two or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Must have Current California Drivers License and good driving record.

Upon hire, must complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Must be willing to travel by automobile most days, up to 25% of the time (overnight travel is rare).
