ResponsibilitiesMonitors and clears tables throughout serviceSets and clears tables timely to ensure prompt serviceFollows all food safety guidelines and standardsMay be asked to bring customers table bread and butter before ordered dishes arrive in the Full Service restaurantMay be asked to assist in bringing food from the kitchen to customersWorks with a strong sense of urgencyIs a complete team player; works well with othersFollows all equipment safety guidelinesIs in complete uniform, appropriately groomed, and always role models the La Brea Bakery Brand imageMaintains and re-stocks working area including condiment station; does not leave assignedarea at any time without properly notifying management and other employeesSweeps and Mops Floors Skills, Experience & QualificationsCompetency: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competenciesProblem Solving Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.Customer Service Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Works with a sense of urgency.Verbal Communication Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.Team Work Takes initiative to best serve both customers and teammates.Quality Management Always ensure highest quality food is being served to customersEthics Treats people with respect; Works with integrity and ethically.Adaptability – Is flexible and adapts quickly to new processes and procedures.Attendance/Punctuality Is consistently at work and on time.Dependability Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Planning/Organizing Uses time efficiently.Professionalism Approaches others in a tactful manner; Reacts well under pressure; Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position.Safety and Security Observes safety and security procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions.Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
