Our Account Executives (Farmer/Account Manager) team continues to grow We are looking for individuals interested in joining an established organic growth team to drive value across our portfolio to include MSP, MSSP, telecommunication, and other (XaaS) IT solutions to our new customers. As an Account Executive, you will confidently demonstrate your ability to act as a ‘trusted advisor’ driving value in selling to the mid-enterprise market, consult in their approach, and be strategically minded. We are looking for someone comfortable in presenting to Senior leadership, decision makers, and C Suite. We are not looking for a culture fit or skill set fit; we are looking for someone who can enhance our culture and skill set. This role is based in Southern California and potentially anywhere Meriplex currently holds a physical office. This role will report to the VP, Account Executives and have operational support based out of Houston and Dallas as well as local markets were appropriate. Here’s how to make an impact: Demonstrate your ability to work effectively with – and across – all levels of business and IT contacts within large or complex organizations, mapping value back to all lines of Meriplex solutions. Be confidant in your knowledge base to drive the total solution of Meriplex,- we employ a land and expand model – your role is to expand. Have a natural desire to not just meet your goals but far exceed them. Consistently provide excellent customer service, be the escalation point where necessary to all assigned customers. This KPI is measured in the team and individual scorecard dashboards of the operations team but reflected in churn and customer cross-sell/up-sell. Gain a strong understanding, and appreciation, for structure that has proven to be successful. Comfortability with highly visible funnel management and closed opportunities scorecard dashboards will help to achieve this. Successful in negotiating competitive solution proposals highlighting Meriplex business value and customer ROI. We are looking for folks who can provide what the customer/client needs while servicing the best margins for the customer following our current long-term strategy for customer/client relationships. Establish and maintain rapport and trust within the organization through frequent communication, responsive ownership of deliverables, and collaboration with colleagues. This is key to driving sales through the finish line and onward to upsell. We have a quarterly employee incentive program that highlights this as one our core common values. Prospect for new customers by proactively preforming multiple customer outreach and sales activities with an understanding that much of your time will be spent in front of potential customers; face-to-face or virtually. This includes full utilization of the CRM to provide accurate, timely, and detailed forecast funnel of opportunities to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals. We are a data focused organization, candidates who have an expectation of leaning into the data to analyze where we can better cross/up sell will be successful at Meriplex. Develop and maintain a high level of working knowledge about Meriplex products, services, and solutions. Actively participate in the training sessions Meriplex provides targeted to the sales team. Let’s work together to succeed together Relevant experience in the following areas is a good start: At least 3 years of experience with WAN, Managed Services, Professional Services, and Unified Communications network, XaaS, and consulting sales experience. At least 5 years of B2B sales experience required. Preference to those in the Account Management space. Intermediate to advanced CRM skills, ConnectWise experience highly preferred. Experience with Cisco route and switch, and/or SDWAN highly preferred. Proactive nature to develop business opportunities independently. Proficient at handling escalated and/or elevated customer negotiations with professionalism and respect. Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills. Work Schedule/Travel – Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with the ability to have a flexible schedule due to work volume and proposal deadlines are a must. Ability to travel up to 25% may be required based on customer requirements.
