Computer Operations Representative II- $1000 Sign On Incentive (Hybrid)

Wescom is currently seeking a Computer Operations Representative II working the 1st shift schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm schedule, rotating weekends.POSITION SUMMARY:Monitors all computer systems to ensure hardware and software are performing as they should.ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:Maintains daily schedule processing.Must be on call 24/7 for all shifts.Troubleshoots problems with user devices. Performs restores when necessary. Pulls ACH files from FED. Performs system/disk reorg’s. Ability to run and execute month-end processing.Creates, maintains, and updates Symitar jobs and schedules.Conducts routine back-ups of systems monitored, maintains all department hardware, assists in the training of other operators on new and current process, and communicates with vendors, receive and send files to 3rd party vendorsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School education and one to two years experience in related field required.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Ability to navigate through Symitar operating system, support Symitar’s software, create reports, modify batch jobs in Symitar, use Windows 9x, NT and 2000, MS Office, and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and oral.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
