Well, we wouldnt use that word (were in the beauty industry for goodness sake last time we checked, you cant cut hair virtually). We did what a lot of other people did pivoted. This is the part where you may be thinking we forgot to update our job description because there is, in fact, still a pandemic looming over us. But what our pivot did was set us apart as a company. It equipped us with the right tools to get on and stay on an up and to the right trajectory, and thats where wed like to stay. Our team has grown substantially, weve acquired other amazing companies, and with that, amazing people. Weve broken through and explored untouched parts of the industry. What was once a job for a lot of people has turned into a community, a support system, and an enjoyable way for them to spend a good chunk of their days and weeks. (Dont get us wrong, we know work is called work for a reason and it cant always be fun and games, but it certainly helps to have a balance). Requirements As part of our outside sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with select clients, scheduling and conducting safe, masked face to face demos at barbershops and salons and becoming part of the fabric of the beauty and wellness community that Booksy is growing so rapidly in. What youll do Hunt for new business in the Anaheim area You get excited about showing others our product. You take no as a not yet, challenge accepted. Manage your own pipeline of potential clients and take advantage of every opportunity to grow your book of business Attend and create some amazing events to further engage potential and current Booksy users Cold calls, walk-ins, sliding into DMs – youre personable and persistent Meetings, meetings and more meetings You understand that face to face interaction is key in closing that sale and identifying your clients needs Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to close. You are determined to spread the Booksy gospel Set your clients up for success by conducting demos and educating them on all our app features and how they can best utilize our product for their business needs Who you are Youre scrappy, you take risks, and put yourself WAY out there Youre comfortable making cold calls and walk-ins and conducting in-person meetings. You basically live outside your comfort zone Youre a straight shooter who can talk to other straight shooters Youre human (click here to prove you arent a bot) Were dropping the p word again. Passion is what our industry runs on. Put that first before any sales tactic youve ever learned Youre an effective, metric-driven sales person with a proven track record of success Youre humble and hungry – you dont take rejection personally You have experience closing deals and taking clients through the entire sales cycle Youre a self-starter, were a start-up. Innovation is a requirement and ideas are expected Youll let us know if you suck at something. We suck at things too At the end of the day, you fully see the reward in this job (hint: its not green) You have 3-5 years of solid sales experience under your belt.
