Accounts Payable Supervisor

Position Summary:Supervises the accounts payable staff to ensure invoices are processed and paid timely and accurately.Essential Job Functions:* Supervise accounts payable staff* Yearly reviews of staff* 1099 reporting* Audit and post PO and Non PO invoices* Run payment proposals* Perform monthly closing procedures* Run weekly reports* Prepare journal entries* Resolve invoice issues with Transportation, Customer Service, Inventory, and Purchasing* Special projects as assigned* Petty Cash* Audit and confirm Vendor MasterPosition Requirements:* College Education preferred (Accounting courses +)* Intermediate Microsoft office skills including Excel and Word* Knowledge of freight and inventory is preferred* Ability to multi-task* Ability to work in a fast paced environment* Good written and verbal communication* Strong people skills and communication skills* Must be proactive and have a strong sense of urgency* Must have strong persuasive skills and perform well under pressure* SAP experience is mandatory* Must be a team player and able to work with other individuals outside the department* Must be able to recognize and meet deadlines and prioritize and follow up accordingly* Willingness to perform other departmental or cross-departmental duties as required
