We are searching for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.Your Role:As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the Invoice Processing team, providing oversight and training to the staff in processing invoices and performing payments. The role will report to the Accounts Payable Manager, and will frequently collaborate with the General Ledger, Travel & Entertainment, and BU Finance and Operation teams. You will have the opportunity to:* Direct and manage Accounts Payable staff; including training and cross-training employees.* Responsible for accurate and timely execution of invoice processing and payment run processes.* Manage Accounts Payable inbox, providing resolution on inquiries and escalations.* Prepare account reconciliations around the Accounts Payable General Ledger accounts, researching aged items and propose solutions to management team.* Support audit requests from internal and external audit teams.* Enforce control compliance across the team.* Run weekly and monthly metrics such as parked, MRBR blocked invoice, workload, processing totals reports, as well as other reports.Ultimately, you will make a difference by overseeing, participating and improving upon various processes while also fostering team efforts to accomplish department goals.You will love it here if…* You pay great attention to detail* You can successfully juggle multiple tasks at once* You are a leader who enjoys working with a dynamic team* You are a creative problem-solverWe need you to have:* BS in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.* 4+ years progressive experience with an excellent understanding of the entire A/P process.* Prior team management experience combined with proven track record of developing, coaching, and mentoring Accounts Payable team.* Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint and Excel.* Proficient in large, automated financial systems such as SAP.Icing on the cake:* Prior experience in the Consumer Product Goods industry.* Strong analytical and organizational skills, with high attention to detail.* Ability to translate business objectives into tactical actions and make sound business decisions under time pressure.* Self-directed with the ability to work in fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and internal customers.Want to know more?
