Assistant Manager position for fast growing distributor of residential and commercial heating & air conditioning products based in Anaheim, CA.

Work as part of a team of inventory management professionals with an established company of 60 years and 31 locations spread throughout the western United States.

In this key position you will be responsible for analyzing inventory trends and meeting with suppliers to optimize our inventory position for a portfolio of product lines for all 30 sales locations.

We are a customer service company focused on delivering exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will be one with advanced Excel skills, a very high sense of urgency, a perfectionist with details, is highly organized, has excellent verbal and written communication skills and a strong problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:Generate and manage Excel reports to assist in evaluating purchasing effectiveness.Work closely with Purchasing Manager to assist and support all buyers.Generate purchase orders for assigned product lines.Oversee follow up and expediting of all orders.Lead meetings with key suppliers to ensure adequate order fill rates.Work closely with the Product Managers to ensure product needs are being met.Analyze transfer orders to maximize customer service and availability.Assist branches on sourcing and placing special orders for customers.
